Grey linen blend strap dress from Issey Miyake featuring shoulder straps, a straight neckline and a frayed hem. At the back the straps can be gathered in a v-shape with a button and the back has a high open slit. Please note that vintage items are not new and might have imperfections.

    Issey Miyake founded his Design Studio in Tokyo 1971. Miyake's skill with fabric is rooted in his knowledge of traditional Japanese fabrics and fabric-production techniques. Combined with Miyake's sophisticated colour sense, the effect of all this sensuous texture was completely fresh. Textured fabrics, when employed by other designers, tend to be conventionally rich. Even when used in fresh unexpected ways other designers cannot compete with the fabrics Miyake has developed, which respond well to being intricately cut, seamed, darted and fitted.
