    Thanks to Herbert Hofmann, the creative director of VOO store, Berlin’s Kreuzberg district is now an up-and-coming hot spot for fashion, art and design. Away from the city’s usual shopping destinations, VOO occupies a space of 300 m2 on the premises of a former locksmith shop. Offering designer brands with an emphasis on design, creativity and quality craftsmanship, VOO is not only a store, it’s a cafe-bar and gathering point for customers who meet and share creative ideas and admire the surroundings.     Before starting his own business, Hien Le observed the fashion scene from different points of view. Born in Laos, he completed a training as a clothing tailor in Berlin in 2008. Several assignments followed but after two years, he decided to use his long-time experience in design and manufacturing to start his own independent fashion label. His debut collection for SS 11 launched during Berlin fashion week. Since then, he has focused on discreet cuts and the subtle application of details, consistently manufacturing clothing that combines diligent design with accurate workmanship, all produced in Germany. He regards as a constant the pursuit of simplicity, style and quality.
