Description

Hector magazine is the second periodical published by London menswear establishment Hostem. Each issue is named after a different man and therefore takes on an altered persona. Hector is an erudite activist concerned with arts, politics, and parity. This publication bares itself with a defaced poster, a documentation of the French presidential campaign by artist Pascal Fellonnea. Hector features interviews with Maurizo Amadei from atelier design house ma+, Hermann Nitsch, visuals by Blommers/Schumm, work from artists Koen Hauser and Ruth van Beek, photographer David Moore and art critic Julian Stallabrass. The price includes shipping costs.

HOSTEM is delighted to announce the opening of the HOSTEM Spring Store, a retail space for the Spring Summer 2016 season located at 28 Old Nichol Street, E2 7HR, London. Within a shadow’s reach from the Redchurch Street HQ, the 230sqm gallery interior proposes an open-plan environment where site specific structures exhibit a rotating display of men’s and women’s ready-to- wear. A handmade structure in aged green oak encloses the main shop floor. Beneath the vaulted glass ceilings, Pierre Jeanneret’s Chandigargh table, chairs and sofas offer pause in the space, complemented by artworks from the likes of Graham Collins, Lucien Smith, and Kika Karadi.
