Located in a residential area in Amsterdam near the triangle of the Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum and Museum of Modern Art, it draws in a clientele that’s interested in style more than it is in fashion trends. Starting up with small upcoming brands like Fiorentini+Baker, N.D.C and more established brands like Premiata and Freelance, LUUKS soon became a destination shop for shoelovers in the Netherlands and abroad. With Belgian designers like A.F. Vandevorst and Margiela joining the shelves, LUUKS’ image as an innovative shoeshop with an edgy and down-to-earth vintage style has only grown.

    Designer: HANNA WALLMARK

    Born in Lulea - the north of Sweden - this enthusiast of nature and mankind left to discover the world at the age of 19. She left her homeland for Australia, New Zealand, and Asia before settling down in the south of France. In her luggage she brought some bracelets which are typical of her home country. In 2007 she created her French company, working with the manufacturing in northern Sweden. She keeps on giving the traditional bracelets a personal touch and enriching them as the time goes by.
