British shoe designer Georgina Goodman started out working for magazines like i-D and Elle but soon realised her real calling was in footwear. After enrolling at London’s legendary Cordwainer’s College which she followed up with an MA at the Royal College of Art, she set up her eponymous label in 2002. Now regarded as one of world’s best women’s shoe designers, Goodman’s creations are luxurious but with an edge of creativity that marks them out. Her slogan ‘Made in Love’ really does seem to show in her designs.
