    Spinnaker 101
    Founder of Spinnaker, Lorenza Betti, opened the first boutique in the seventies in the coastal town of Alassio, Italy. Today Spinnaker represents one of the most fashionable names in Italian luxury retailing, with 14 stores between Portofino, Alassio and San Remo, all prefaced by the Ligurian sea. Betti says that his boutiques are 'like a stage where luxury fashion is the guest of honour', and where the store's façade, the customer and the buying choices all influence and reflect each other.

    Christina Ferrari founded Fisico in the early 90's, with an intention to introduce "the idea of pret-à-porter on the beach", a concept that was relatively unexplored in fashion. The Turin label is inspired by the sensuality and physicality that is characteristic of Brazil, to where Ferrari often travels. Fisico blends refined and stylised garments with a vibrance and flexibility, which make it the most desirable beachwear in Europe.
