    Parisi’s history starts when in 1920’s the young tailor Salvatore Parisi opened an atelier in Taormina. Famed for its elegance and style, the tailor’s shop soon became a business and he opened a boutique on Corso Umberto I. For three generations afterwards, Parisi has mixed modernity and tradition in its own characteristic way. Now counting 6 luxurious boutiques and a splendid restaurant, the spaces are a fusion of experimental architecture in the monumental, historic buildings. Today, Parisi-Taormina is synonymous with luxury, dedicated to men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, accessories, childrens’ wear and jeans, with a careful selection of the best Italian and international brands.

    Fendi, one of the world’s premier luxury labels, began life in 1918 as a fur and leather specialty shop in Rome, owned by Adele Casagrande and Edoardo Fendi. The family business hired emerging talent Karl Lagerfeld in 1965, then a little known stylist who had trained under Pierre Balmain and Jean Patou. Soon after Lagerfeld designed the famous double ‘F’ logo, which to this day remains an iconic status symbol. Lagerfeld launched the house's first ready-to-wear fur collection in 1969 and Fendi rapidly grew into one of the most prestigious luxury labels.
