In 1985 Persian born Gohar Goddard set up the luxury yarn shop Ziggurat in Kensington, London. Its success and popularity resulted in her starting up her own line 'English Weather' in 1995. Specialising in 100% cashmere and silk knitwear and fun cashmere teddies English Weather uses luxurious fabrics and gives them a quintessentially British twist.
