    Emily Scott is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Edinburgh, best known for writing odd-ball string compositions and "making other people play them". When it comes to recording and live shows Emily calls upon the help of Kate Miguda (violin), Rik Evans (viola) and Pete Harvey (cello). Emily Scott combines simply elements of folk, back-porch skiffle and old-time music hall, with her trademark quirky word-play and multi-syllabic rhymes.
