SHIPPING FROM: THE OLD CURIOSITY SHOP, London

    THE OLD CURIOSITY SHOP
Rich in history and located in the same London premises that inspired Charles Dickens’ classic novel, The Old Curiosity Shop is the home of the influential menswear label Blaak Homme, designed by Sachiko Okada and Aaron Sharif, as well as Daita Kimura shoes. The charmingly ramshackle Bloomsbury shop has been given a Twenty-first Century makeover by Fritz of design duo Frick ‘n' Frack – with old ship’s timber beams juxtaposing beautifully with modern sculptural furniture and the directional men's fashion that is the boutique’s speciality.

    Designer: THE OLD CURIOSITY SHOP

The Old Curiosity Shop was built in 1567 and immortalised by Charles Dickens in his book, “The Old Curiosity Shop.” In 1992 Daita Kamura started his business in this historical premises turning it into a shoe shop selling handmade shoes within the shop. The interior of the shop has a fairy-tale like aura that is rich with history and the passage of time. Most visitors are mesmerised by the small winding staircases and treasure trove of interesting goods, including handmade fashion and footwear that are unique only to this shop.
