    Céline is a French luxury house founded in 1945 by Céline Vipiana. Originally created as a made-to-measure children's shoe business, it eventually grew into women's shoes and accessories. The ready-to-wear line debuted in the 1960s - beautiful classical lines and styles that withstand time A succession of designers took the position as creative director, but it was in 2008 that ex-Chloe visionary Phoebe Philo was appointed, who still designs for the house today.
