The P.A.R.O.S.H. story began 20 years ago with Italian designer Paolo Rossello. It all started in the 1980s when Rossello began customising vintage clothes, re-designing them and giving them a second life. This is still the way P.A.R.O.S.H. (which stands for Paolo Rossello Second Hand) creates its luxurious vintage-fusion clothing. Strips of Pakistani fabric are assembled and reconstructed into colourful coats, while US Marines’ standard issue sweaters, adapted in their shape and softened by embroidery and beads, are transformed into glamorous evening pieces.
