Meaning ‘torrential rain that purifies the soul’, in Japanese, the boutique has affected its clientele just as much as the earths’ surfaces have been sculpted by water. The owner’s eye for conceptual pieces combined with a cosmopolitan cross-pollination of individualistic, up-and-coming brands with well-known names, is unique, as is the Doshabury boutique space itself, located in the medieval, Gothic area of Barcelona.

    Hussein Chalayan has crafted himself an immense career, has heightened innovation and severely pushed boundaries. His garments have been more objets d’art or installation pieces as opposed to ready to wear: his clothes are conceptual couture. Browns bought his graduate collection and we are delighted to still sell his ingeniously engineered ready to wear.
