    Designer: BRUNO PIETERS

After graduating from the famous Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgian-born Bruno Pieters worked for an illustrious set of designers including Martin Margiela and Christian Lacroix, before going it alone. In 2001 he was the first Belgian designer to present a couture collection in Paris, to much critical acclaim. A ready-to-wear collection followed the year after and with it a host of awards including the prestigious Swiss Textile Award in 2006. Pieters’ understanding of cut and structure is the key to his beautiful, complex but restrained fashion designs that are worn by intelligent women looking for something a little left of centre.
