    DOSHABURI
    Founded by a Japanese expat living in Barcelona, Doshaburi lives up to its name. Meaning ‘torrential rain that purifies the soul’, in Japanese, the boutique has affected its clientele just as much as the earths’ surfaces have been sculpted by water. The owner’s eye for conceptual pieces combined with a cosmopolitan cross-pollination of individualistic, up-and-coming brands with well-known names, is unique, as is the Doshabury boutique space itself, located in the medieval, Gothic area of Barcelona.

    Since the set up of his brand in 1999 (in association with Jutta Kraus) the young man, born in Ulm in the South of Germany, hasn’t stopped building an imaginative nicely crazy universe. First with womenswear, his first collection is presented in Paris in 1999. Then with menswear he created the first samples in 2000, but he presented them only in January 2003 during the menswear Fashion Week. Trained at the Royal Academy of Anvers Willhelm graduated in 1998. He previously assisted Walter Van Beirendock, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood and Dirk Bikkembergs.
