Paris born Barbara Bui slowly began introducing her designs to the fashion world after she opened her first boutique, Kabuki, in 1983. The brand Barbara Bui was officially launched after her first collection was presented to international press and buyers in 1987, and met immediate success. Her designs, a hybrid of elegance and rock’n’roll attitude, have a loyal following.
