Rome based designer Barbara Biffoli was born in 1967 and has a degree in literature, specializing in the history of the theatre, giving her a background in, and passion for, art. This, together with her love for jewellery, has given her the inspiration for her jewellery collection, which are seen as objects that give rise to unique sensations with the use of raw materials, and which are handmade.
Her unquestioned creativity and her personal technique are evident in her work, with her creations being rich, elaborate, and garish — almost baroque in style.
