Green silk brocade dress from Balenciaga featuring black floral print, a boat neck, a central zip fastening to the rear, cropped sleeves, a fitted bodice with an inner bustier and a flared skirt. This dress is a piece from the spring/summer 2013 Balenciaga Edition line, for which the design studio selected twelve designs from the house archives of Cristobal Balenciaga's Haute Couture Collections, dating between 1952 and 1967. Their development is focused on meticulous research of the original fabrics and construction and replicating them with current manufacturing techniques.
