In 1980, Elke M. Zander founded a small fashion label, named after her daughter, Antonia who was only four years old at the time. Elke’s concept was to create an exclusive collection of handmade knitwear. Attention to details and outstanding quality soon attracted a stylish clientele. Following her mother’s footsteps, daughter Antonia pursued fashion after graduating and in 2005 was nominated CEO in her self-named mother’s company, Antonia Zander. The Antonia Zander collection has since grown into a complete cashmere offering and is made entirely from wild goat hair.
