    Ai is a project resulting from an ongoing collaboration between ­Oliver Prestele, designer, artist and cook, and Nella Rieken, a graphic designer and VJ, mainly concerned with historical print techniques and analogue copying processes. After several visits to Japanese dyeing mills, they started to import natural Japanese indigo and performed extensive tests on the process, re-interpreting traditional methods and drawing parallels to prior experiments with print and photographic techniques.
