    Penelope
Owner of Penelope, Roberta Valentini says her boutique is an evolving project, the identity of which is never completely secured. By buying in products way in advance, and only allowing the crème de la crème in luxury collections to grace her clothing rails, Roberta has ensured that Brescia-based Penelope is the home of early bird trends. According to her, she simply 'knows what is to come.'

    Designer: Dr. Martens

During the ‘60s, when teenage rebellion ran rampant, one boot emerged an icon. It was then German-based scientist Dr. Klaus Maertens created a shoe sole made mostly of air and through chance meeting was able to bring his invention to England. Here, he partnered up with the Griggs family to manufacture boots that became popular with both factory workers and London’s youth in revolt. Today, boots from Dr. Martens remain an iconic symbol of anticonformity and anti-fashion fashion.
