Founded in 2009, Kimberly Ovitz launched her eponymous line and became known for her simple androgynous style. Ovitz got her start at 14 when she interned under Emily Scott, co-founder of J. Crew. In the following years, she spent a summer working under Karl Lagerfeld in Paris, studied at Brown and Parsons, and worked as a design assistant at Imitation of Christ.
