Since debuting her eponymous line of womenswear in 2006, New York-based designer Samantha Pleet has dressed indie bands, created fashion-infused films, and introduced a line of menswear, named Peter Pleet, to her label. Pleet is known for mingling whimsical elements with modern silhouettes, acting on signature pieces like rompers, dandy jackets, and playful dresses. In addition to her two collections, Pleet also designed the collection Rapscallion and opened a pop-up shop at Urban Outfitters in 2008.
