ZEHA BERLIN

Zeha Berlin was originally founded in the late 19th century, but in the 1950s, Zeha, now within East Germany, produced trainers for the GDR Olympic team and later supplied to all corners of the Soviet block. After the wall fell, the brand died and was forgotten about, until 2002 when two Berlin designers, Alexander Barré and Torsten Heine, breathed new live into Zeha. By 2003 they had used the creative energy of the young capital city to create the streetwise footwear in the style of the legendary original model.
