Wen Wei Tong and Hoyuk joined forces in Paris two years and launched their own line of jewelry called Shaoo. Their collections are based on two themes – ‘l’ombre’ and ‘lumiere.’ The ‘lumiere’ collection threads together precious stones and the ‘l’ombre’ collection is based around creative form. They use cut out shapes from leather based on the traditional Chinese latticed detailing. The intricate designs utilise two-shade leather pieces in cream, silver, black and bronze with of the some designs studded with gold beading or hanging from gold plated silver linked chains.
