Japanese fashion designer Tsumori Chisato, a graduate of the famed Japanese fashion institution Bunka School, made her mark early on by entering Issey Miyake as the head designer for Issey Sport, later renamed I.S. Chisato Tsumori Design. Launching her eponymous collection in 1990, Chisato’s menswear, womenswear, shoes and accessories are now available worldwide and are coveted for their understated silhouettes, vibrant illustrative prints and personalised materials and embellishments.
