D.A.T.E. was founded by four men: Damiano and Emiliano, who built up their experience working with Paul Smith and Escada, and Alessandro and Tommaso, who studied at Florence University and then Swinburne University in Melbourne together: with degrees in Fashion Marketing & Business. They met up in London in 2005 and feeling dissatisfied with their working lives, threw themselves into a project to create their own sneaker range. They create products with a high level of quality, from tireless design research and painstaking selection of materials, with obsessive attention to detailing.
