Swedish Hasbeens is a young company resolved to make old new again. The object of their obsession is a now defunct sandal, a Swedish 70s classic that ceased production when the factory was sold decades ago. Resurrecting their favourite sandal, Swedish Hasbeens employ Swedish shoemakers to create the footwear anew, in line with the original models and tools. “History is full of success stories. We want to offer sandals as they were,” say creators Emy and Cilla, “created according to old craftsman traditions, so that each pair are unique.”
