Charles Anastase found fame on the fashion circuit as both an illustrator and stylist, contributing to fashion bibles Dazed & Confused and Purple among others. His foray into designing came shortly after, with a collection shown in Paris with an Alice in Wonderland theme. Today, his creations continue to have an ironically girlish appeal, with full skirts, sweet ballet pumps and leg o’ mutton sleeves appearing from season to season.
