Heavily influenced by his Sicilian heritage, Antonio Berardi has always had a sense of style from his mother. This combined with his British upbringing and education at Central St. Martins makes his style unique. Before establishing his label he worked as Galliano’s assistant. He has an artist’s appreciation of the female form and his customers find that his clothes collaborate with the body to enhance their natural curves. Clothing that appears simple on the hanger becomes rhythmically alive on the body.
