Pucci’s trademark prints are recognised universally for their vivacious colours and abstract shapes and lines. The Pucci look emerged in Florence in the 1950s, its wearers embodying a new, free-spirited, jet-set glamour. The label’s creator Emilio Pucci became known as the ‘Prince of prints’ as the fashion set clamoured for his kaleidoscopic-patterned pieces. Today the company is headed up by his daughter Laudomia with designer Matthew Williamson its Creative Director. Williamson, a lover of colour himself, continues to take those vibrant prints into a modern new era.
