Alice + Olivia was founded in 2002. Former classmates Stacey Bendet and Rebecca Matchett named the brand after their mother's forenames, and their first line was a "just pants” collection introducing the bold, low-rise, slim-fitting “Staceypants” that have come to be their signiature. The label is now run by Bendet and Andrew Rosen and is sold in more than 500 stores worldwide.
