Gloverall have been producing duffle coats for over 50 years, starting in a London factory close to St Paul's Cathedral. Gloverall garments are still made in England to this day.
Having taken a large batch of ex-Navy surplus stock following World War Two, Gloverall created their own market and the duffle coat enjoyed a boost in popularity. Demand soared and Gloverall were forced to start manufacturing their own duffle coats from scratch. Gloverall have been featured in nearly every major publication from Elle to The Independent.
