Joanna Louca was founded in 1999, with limited edition woven handbags selling to exclusive boutiques in London and Tokyo. Her collections consist of bags, belts and scarves, all produced at her weaving workshop and production unit in Cyprus and Italy. Joanna studied art and design and graduated in woven textiles at Middlesex University. Later she obtained a diploma in Textiles in Goldsmiths University. She worked three years as a freelance and consultancy level in London. After setting up her own label in 1999 she moved back to Cyprus where she still lives and work.
