When Karl Lagerfeld called him for Chloé, in 1989, Rodolphe Menudier had already created many footwear collections on a freelance basis, in France, Italy and Japan. There followed various collaboration projects with major fashion houses such as Balenciaga, Chanel, Christian Lacroix, Paco Rabanne and more recently Dior.
