Turkish-born designer Hussein Chalayan graduated from Central St Martins in 1993 and has since won the Absolut Fashion Award and been twice-crowned British Designer of the Year. Chalayan has also taken part in a series of art projects at various museums such as the Museum of Modern Art, New York and the Kyoto Costume Institute, Japan. Chalayan now shows pret-a-porter collections at Paris Fashion Week and is famously inspired by architecture, science and technology to create innovative and distinctive designs.
