THE ROLE


This role is responsible for ensuring the highest level of service is given to and obtained from our European boutique partnerships across UK, France, Benelux, Spain, Italy, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.


You will manage the core daily communication with our boutiques across commercial, operational and service requirements, ensuring excellent performance from boutiques even through peak times.

Furthermore, you will work very closely with the Account Manager of each boutique and the Operational team who will support with analytics or best practice guidance. There will also be significant contact with other teams such as Customer Service, Finance, Production & Logistics.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage and follow through on all needs (to and from boutiques) with speed and effective result
    • Ranging from Production/Logistics/Photography (administrative and courier)
    • Answer queries from partners liaising with relevant teams for resolutions
    • Order management working with Customer Service, Courier or Operations teams
  • Drive KPIs daily, and effectively follow up with boutiques – eg: inventory accuracy, stock upload speed, speed of order sending, price inputting by boutiques, and others
  • Liaison with Customer Service team in order to optimize customer satisfaction
  • Seasonal activities such as markdown implementation and site stock clean ups
  • Coordinate online setup and training for new boutiques, with ongoing monitoring of best practices and processes


Key Skills and Experience:


  • Minimum of one year of experience in commercial, service or office roles, preferably in fashion/retail environment
  • Capacity to multi-task and shift focus as required, with an excellent sense of prioritization and timing
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and proactive, with an aptitude for process optimization

ROLE OUTLINE


The role of Stylist will crucially report into both the Studio Manager and the Head of Styling as it’s essential the candidate not only has a strong and dynamic creative flair but also the competency and organizational skills to ensure targets are met and that the studios run effectively. Using their vast fashion and brand knowledge the Stylist will be responsible for preparing the outfit rails each day ready for the shoot aswell as guiding/mentoring the assistant stylists and ensuring they have the necessary support and feedback to achieve their targets. This candidate will work closely with both managers to develop the Farfetch visual aesthetic, image quality and productivity, and will essentially be responsible for the quality of the images.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Thorough and broad brand knowledge
  • Update the Farfetch style guides to reflect any visual changes made throughout the season, and ensure any changes are cascaded to the team
  • Work closely with the Head of Styling to develop the styling tool kit and ensure the team has the necessary basics

  • Handle daily communication between couriers (DHL and UPS) and all the other departments (Account Managers, Customer Service, Logistics) using a ticket management tool;

The Role


The role is responsible for performing a range of editorial tasks, requiring a demonstrated proficiency in writing, editing, visual communication, and idea generation for Farfetch, as well as a familiarity with developments in fashion, art and design and current affairs globally.

This particular position is assigned to Fashion, thus strong preference is given to those with a firm grasp on matters of style and design. The role demands the skill to carefully curate fashion editorial for the site, both written and visual, as well as liaise with the Fashion Co-ordinator and Art Director on idea-generation, shoot concepting and product selection for fashion shoots.

Purpose of role


The success of farfetch.com is driven by the relationships we have with boutiques and that all starts with Business Development. The key purpose of the role is to utilize one’s established relationships and experience and cultivate new relationships with high-end luxury and unique fashion boutiques located throughout the US and introduce them to farfetch.com concept and ultimately have them join our global boutique network.



Main responsibilities


This position will contribute to the strategy and execution of our US Business Development efforts to continue to build an amazing network of unique specialty stores within the US and North America (Canada and Mexico).


    Signing Up New Stores:
  • Utilize established relationship with existing specialty stores to introduce them to the farfetch.com concept and our ecommerce service offering
  • Initiate contact with prospective new stores through store visits, phone conversations, and emails
  • Use salesforce.com to maintain progress reports on each prospective boutique to document progress of establishing a potential partnership
  • Constantly review and revise “selling points” and relevant collateral and sales materials based on updates in the business


    Ongoing Boutique Experience:
  • Ensure and maintain ongoing relationship with boutiques by partnering with the Farfetch Account Management team to address any needs on either side (visits, conference calls, dinners, etc.)
  • Initiate timely check-ins with boutiques and partner with Account Management to ensure that expectations are being met (KPIs include sales, fulfillment rate, and sending quality product in a timely manner) and engagement in farfetch.com is strong
  • Promote company initiatives to existing boutiques as needed


Qualifications


  • At least 3 years’ experience in Wholesale Sales related to high-end and unique fashion apparel and accessories; designer sales experience a plus
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with clients/customers and knowledge of specialty stores/fashion boutiques preferred
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Must be professional, self-motivated, and have initiative
  • Travel up to 30% of the time (local area and domestic US)
  • BS or BA degree, or equivalent experience required
