Designers Sam Shipley and Jeff Halmos bring simplicity and luxurious fabrics to their line of men's and women's clothing. Both Shipley and Halmos helped found and design the menswear label Trovata, leaving it and California behind in 2007 for a fresh start in New York. Their eponymous line debuted in 2008 and has since shown seasonally during New York Fashion Week. The duo regularly collaborates with a host of other designers, are active members of the CFDA, and received the Young Designer Award from the National Arts Club in 2008.
