Sacai is a Japanese brand that is the creation of designer Abe Chitose. She has quietly been creating Sacai womenswear collections since 1999, having worked for Comme des Garçons and Junya Watanabe before that. Her knitwear-based collections have built an underground following with very little publicity. Sacai is all about the finest quality knits, but they are often used in unusual ways and combined with other elements and fabrics to produce beautifully feminine pieces.
