Traditional English shirt brand Margaret Howell is a wardrobe staple. Howell opened her first menswear shop in London in 1977 with Joseph Ettedgui, following her success selling workshop-produced shirts to brands such as Ralph Lauren and Paul Smith.
MHL, the younger, sportier collection that deviates from the central line, generally considered to be more sophisticated dresswear, is a small carefully edited collection which takes inspiration from vintage, workwear and uniform styles.
