Grenson's founder, William Green, born in 1835, grew up in Northamptonshire, England, a county known for it's quality leathers. There, he helped his mother to handcraft boots at home. He later began traveling to London to trade and his products became renowned for their constancy and craftsmanship. Registered under Grenson, the company continued to grow on it's home site, into the 21st Century, able to adapt it's innovative designs to the changing fashions.
