The house of Dior is one of the world’s most illustrious fashion brands, created in Paris in 1946 by designer Christian Dior. Dior revolutionised women’s fashion in February 1947 with his now legendary 'New Look', that gave women back feminine form and yards of fabric after the austerity of the Second World War. These days the house is lead creatively by British designer John Galliano, famed for his cutting skills and love of colour. His designs take Dior’s rich heritage as a starting point and work it into a very Twenty-first Century ready-to-wear collection.
