Jean-Michael Cazabat began his career as a shoe designer twenty-five years ago in Southern France. He started off as a buyer for French shoe designer Charles Jourdan, and later became president of the prestigious shoe brand Stephane Kelian before launching his eponymous shoe line in 1999. Today, Cazabat is known for his ultra-feminine collection of shoes that feature glitter-specked suedes, metallic finishes, color blocking, and textural elements.

Roberto Tassinari opened Tassinari shoes in 1986 after the success of a clothing boutique. Originally a menswear boutique, he started to sell shoes to complete the look of his clients outfits, then later selling shoes for women. Now Tassinari is a luxury shoe boutique housing shoes to meet all different personalities, male and female. The store’s architecture was one of the first in the city of Bologna to have a minimal design with concrete details and wood panels, set in the bohémien area. The space is divided into two ‘mirror’ lounges, one for ladies and men. Roberto believes that the shoes’ world is very romantic, full of craftsmanship and offers exclusive collaborations for Tassinari.
