    The iconic Austrian store Wunderl is a family business dating back to 1856 and is now run by the fifth generation of Franz and Andrea Wunderl. Known for its friendly service and fine attention to detail, the store - with a clean, spacious interior - is home to high fashion accessories, shoes and bags from some of the industry's favourite names. Wunderl is located about 40 minutes outside Vienna in the town of Sollenau and is known locally as a bit of a 'hidden gem'.

Each pair of men’s and ladies shoes takes up to 8 weeks to manufacture, in a highly skilled process involving over 200 separate operations.The company has embarked on high profile collaborations with brands such as Paul Smith.
