In 2009 Becky French founded Marwood as a blog, an online sketchbook intended to collate the research that would inspire the Marwood concept, attitude and its first collection of neckties. Upon graduating from Kingston University she gained experience at Ralph Lauren’s Purple Label and Aquascutum Collection before founding Marwood.
Modern and highly considered, her neckties celebrate the traditions and techniques of a rich and distinguished heritage. She has developed close working relationships with historic factories and fabric mills across the UK.
