The boutique is situated in the creative hub of Kingsland Road, East London, and stocks designers from London and Tokyo. Created by Lui Nemeth and Andrew Grune, Primitive will continue to exhibit and showcase the most innovative and original talent through various mediums and projects.

    A cheerful, bright line from Tokyo, Banzai is the creation of Osaka-born Yoruko Banzai. With no formal education in fashion, he came into designing clothes for a contemporary circus he joined – where he also produced calligraphy and was a scriptwriter, whilst studying art at university. In 2011, He did a performance piece "Synchronised motion" for the Hors Pistes Tokyo (2011) opening party, sponsored by Centre Pompidou, Paris.
