Allen launched his shoe manufacturing company in Belgium, Wisconsin in 1922 with the vision that to be a success they needed to stay close to their Midwestern roots of hard work, honesty, humility and trust which would be the cornerstones of the company. A partnership was soon formed with Bill Edmonds and the company became forever known as Allen Edmonds. Since its inception Allen Edmonds has been able to constantly evolve without ever losing sight of the core values and traditions that make it great, producing classic Oxford and Derby shoes for the American white collar man.
