Trained as a goldsmith, Saskia Diez is primarily a jewellery designer. Her jewellery has clarity and intelligent simplicity, playing with tradition and modernity, and capturing the ‘zeitgeist’ without being trendy. Despite her serious, reflected way of working her designs are never lacking in poetry. Diez is also famous for her innovative “Papier” bag made from Tyvek®, designed by her husband, Stefan Diez.
