Épice’s collections of stoles, scarves and foulards are created by Danish designers Bess Nielsen and Jan Machenhauer. “Our work is based, above all, on intense creative research of woven textiles... Next come colours and graphics. Our wide colour palette is closely linked to our native Denmark, where colours vibrate very differently than in other latitudes - due to the low skies and long, dark winters. For us, colour generates light; it is a source of energy and aesthetics.”
