Frank Leder is a Berlin based designer. While studying at Central Saint Martins London, Leder contributed to magazines such as i-D and Sleazenation. His garments are rooted in German history, making references from work-wear to traditional men’s tailoring; themes have included the personal histories of his father and grandfather, and subcultures of traditional German society such as protest students, small town fire brigades, and working men. They are also produced in Germany and utilize many local German fabrics and textiles such as Deutschleder and Schladminge.
